The Provincial Government of Isabela established the Busog-Lusog Milk Feeding Program to address malnutrition and improve the health of some of the province’s most vulnerable groups: pregnant and lactating mothers, senior citizens, and malnourished school children.
Since its launch in 2021, the program has provided milk supplements to 423,878 beneficiaries, reflecting the province’s commitment to ensuring the well-being of its citizens.
A key feature of the program is its strong collaboration with private partners such as SNAP-Magat and Nickel Asia Corporation. These partnerships not only enhance resource mobilization but also support the sustainability of the initiative.
To maintain a steady supply of quality milk products, the provincial government established dairy farms in five strategic locations throughout Isabela. This infrastructure guarantees that the feeding program has the necessary resources to operate continuously and efficiently.
