Statement of Support of the Provincial Government of Isabela for the Implementation of the Ease of Doing Business Law
The Provincial Government of Isabela (PGI) reaffirms its strong commitment to the principles of efficient, transparent, and citizen-centered governance, as mandated by Republic Act No. 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.
We fully support the national government’s drive to institutionalize reforms under the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Law, and we embrace the policy directives of the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA). Our regular compliance—including the posting of updated Citizen’s Charters, the strict enforcement of the 3-7-20 rule and the streamlining of frontline procedures—demonstrates our commitment to excellence in public service.
On June 14, 2023, ARTA Northern Luzon Field Office conducted a comprehensive monitoring to assess PGI’s implementation of RA 11032. We are honored to have received a commendation for our exemplary compliance, particularly in the timely submission of reports and in fostering a culture of responsiveness, accountability, and innovation. This recognition reflects our governance philosophy: that public service is a public trust. As we join the nationwide observance of EODB Month this May, the Provincial Government of Isabela, in partnership with our local agencies, reaffirms its active role in advancing public awareness through intensified advocacy campaigns, digital information dissemination, and direct community engagement. These initiatives aim not only to inform but to empower our stakeholders, entrepreneurs, and constituents to take part in shaping a more responsive and business-friendly government.
As we continue to build a province where systems work, services are swift, and every Isabeleño is heard and served with dignity, PGI remains fully aligned with the national vision of eliminating red tape, enhancing competitiveness, and fostering an environment where economic growth and good governance go hand in hand. Let this month serve as a powerful reminder that good governance is not only a legal duty—it is a moral obligation. Together, let us shape a future where efficiency meets compassion, reform meets resolve, and progress is powered by people-first governance.
